Your key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end banquet & event operations across all function spaces - including set-up/strike per standards, flawless BEO execution, and hands-on presence during service
- Guest satisfaction & host leadership: Primary on-site contact for planners; proactively collect feedback, resolve complaints with thorough follow-up; drive continuous service improvement
- Financials & planning: Build shift plans based on forecast and standards; control all banquet costs (beverage, labor, equipment, externals), ensure asset protection and reporting
- Quality, hygiene & safety: Ensure cleanliness, HACCP/HS compliance, and adherence to legal requirements; maintain equipment and inventories
- Lead & develop the team: Manage both the Banquet department and our Banquet Reception (Meeting Concierge team) - approx. 18 team members in total; set goals, run briefings & monthly meetings; onboard, train, coach, and manage performance
- Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with Culinary, Stewarding, Technik, Housekeeping, Front Office, and 3rd-party event partners; participate in pre-/post-cons
- Administrative excellence: Maintain daily reports and KPIs; conduct development interviews; standardize workflows and implement continuous process improvements
