To strengthen our team, we are looking for a reliable and service-oriented Night Technician / Caretaker (m/f/d) who will serve as a key point of contact for technical issues, minor repairs, and the smooth operation of the hotel during the night.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance, and general upkeep tasks during the night shift
Conducting regular inspections of public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house facilities
Independently troubleshooting and resolving minor technical issues
Supporting other departments with technical requests during overnight operations
Performing setup, relocation, and minor installation work (e.g., furniture, equipment, or event spaces)
Reporting and documenting technical issues, ensuring accurate handover to the day team
Assisting with emergency situations and taking appropriate action in line with hotel procedures
Ensuring cleanliness, order, and safety standards are maintained throughout the hotel during the night
Monitoring technical systems and reporting any irregularities or malfunctions promptly
Supervising and monitoring the work of the overnight cleaning team in kitchen areas and loading dock facilities to ensure agreed cleaning procedures are followed
Providing guidance and on-the-job instructions to cleaning staff when required to help prevent damage to equipment and facilities
Ensuring that kitchen equipment is cleaned correctly and is not exposed to hoses or direct water jets where prohibited
Verifying that floor drain covers remain properly in place in all kitchen areas and that debris is not swept into floor drains
Ensuring that food waste and debris are not disposed of through kitchen sink drains
Monitoring the Ramp A drainage area to ensure it remains free of broken glass, waste, and other obstructions
Maintaining nightly inspection records and documenting observations, incidents, and corrective actions taken during the shift
Working closely with the Facilities and Housekeeping teams to support safe, compliant, and efficient overnight operations

Your profile

Be Able.

What You Bring

Hands-on skills and a solid technical understanding
Ideally, initial experience as a Caretaker, Night Technician, or in a trade or technical environment
A self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to work, especially during independently managed night shifts
Willingness to work permanent night shifts and a strong sense of responsibility
The ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems independently during quieter overnight hours
A friendly and helpful attitude towards colleagues, guests, and external service providers
Professional conduct, team spirit, and a strong service mindset
An interest in technical processes and a willingness to learn
